How do you composite a character, or anything in fact, into a moving video shot ? Moving or roaming camera shots can be tracked manually or automatically using proprietary software. This wobbly hand-held shot was tracked manually by selecting points within the video, the software then recreates the real camera path in the computer in 3D. This allows us to place virtual objects, characters or anything into the shot we wish through the magic of 3D and compositing software.

This billboard sequence was created alongside the main Panasonic NCP animation again all in beautiful high-defintion. Eventually video was composited into the billboards.
